more inspirational brooches

brooches are so cool. everybody loves them. you can almost pin them to anything... bags, clothes, hats, shoes... they carry across your lifestyle, your way of thinking, the things you like most. and what about inspiration? we all need some positive reminders to get through the day sometimes. so what about these?

... at the enchanted garden

"It might make one in love with death, to think that one should be buried in so sweet a place"

so said Shelley. this beautiful poem inscribed at the entrance of the enchanted garden of rest, where last sunday it hosted soul source.

from traditional psychedelic shrooms to enigmatic ancient symbols... the new lot of *dream drops* pendants

a special venue, a special deco

the garden of rest at floriana is a beautiful heritage site, which served as a protestant cemetery from 1806 to 1856. at least 528 people were buried here, most of whom were british soldiers and businessmen. some maltese people were buried here too, amongst of them is mikiel anton vassalli, known as the father of the maltese language who had translated the new testament. during ww2 the cemetery was hit by bombs and part of the bastion wall at the far end and some graves were damaged. the garden was finally restored in 2002.

next sunday the garden will host 'soul source', an event dedicated to music, food and art. for this occasion, the venue will be decorated by *dream deco* through the crafty hands of stefan introducing some fantasy deco, including banners and backdrops, uv cosmos, elfen lanters and a fairy cove!

we had time to relax, to unwind and to gather new inspiration for our creations. some of us.... (stefan & mike) .... even had the time and possibility to favour the psychedelic grounds of ozora (lucky them!)

...and so for the first time *dream drops* left our shores, and made it to hungary with success!!!

the next stall of *dream drops* is planned for 'soul source' a chillout event taking place on the 6th of september in the beautiful and mystical garden of rest in floriana. for this occasion dream drops will also provide guests with a 'sweet taste of india'... as our chef stefan will prepare an assortment of delicious curries for the day!

we are currently preparing a new collection of *dream drops* purposely for 'soul source'....

think exotic... think magic... think wild.... :) see you there!

ozora festival 2009

the magical deco of the location, the powerful energy of the people and the mystical transportation created by the music and sounds - a true voyage of the senses is: ozora.

here are a couple of images that my lucky mates took during their incredible week at the festival. here is mike promoting the *dream drops* t-shirts, which btw were a huge success, and further below is some of the cool wickedness that exist at ozora!

personalized birthday gifts

i dont know about you, but for me august is choc-a-bloc with birthdays! ... going back 9 months, i can safely guess that there is something about november... it must be one very busy month for couples :)

apart from my sister and my father, there are my 2 best friends, my hero, my favourite footballer, and a bunch of other friends, including, of course, stefan, all born in august. clearly this makes august quite an expensive month too, and even though i am one solid believer that the thought alone of someone remembering your birthday is enough, i am also a happier person whenever i give presents.

the spiral is the most widely recognized and repeated archetype used to symbolize our inner and outer journey to creation and the self. spirals timelessly exist within our dimension and beyond:

they exist inside our human body, forming what we call DNA
they exist in the universe, in the form of galaxies
they exist in one of the most ancient religions, as the sacred symbol of the great goddess
they exist in nature through the 4 natural elements and in fossils, trees, flowers, plants.

the colour schemes for these spiral charms were carefully chosen to express an easy, relaxing and soothing mood, making them ideal as your constant source of shanti-ful inspiration!

the ohm and ganesha pendants are only some of our dream drops creations inspired from india.

as the name *dream drops* itself suggested, we needed a creation that would match the concept and reflect the shape of a drop. the above mobile charm is one example of what was developed in this sense.

these 'drop charms' are finished with etchings of various symbols and other decorations. the colours used glow under uv light.

zen's zeal for wild feline

this heart-shape with leopard-spots brooch marks my personal enthusiam and affection for the wilderness. an assortment of more items with various other stipes and spots patterns, including zebra, giraffe, tiger, are currently in progress.

at times something fine and spiritual passes...
and you see the gleam of pleasure in their eyes


the street team of *dream drops* and *dream deco* are preparing to share good moments and positive vibes with friends at the next local psy event 'beyond imagination'. watch out for the psychaedelic corner...

just a smooth tune

the shroom collection

this was definitely the main highlight of *dream drops*, not only because they are a common representation of the psychedelic sphere, but because they are most fun, and to a certain extend, easy to do.... unless you go complicated that is!

most of the shrooms light up under uv light. they are ideal as a mobile charms, keychains, zip chains, to hang on the car's rear view mirror, or anything else you can think of!

some shrooms have shells, shiva eyes, crushed stones, gem stones and other items from the earth and the sea.
